I woke up two days later with my ears still ringing, still laughing about what a great wedding this was to attend. It's been almost a week and my still has to put up with funny stories and thoughts about how amazing this wedding was! I've been to a lot of weddings, and I've shot quite a few events, but this ranks very high on the list (maybe number one) of the craziest and most fun wedding I've shot! And Jon and Aury, or should I say, Mr & Mrs Mejia, are one of the best couples I've ever met. This two are best friends, and it was fun to spend some time with them. I love attending weddings and watching the happy couple interact and celebrate their love for each other, it's one of the best things about my job. I had a good friend ask me to cover part of her sisters wedding so that she could enjoy the time with her family. Despite the rain coming down all day, Cole and Whitney couldn't have been happier. That is always my favorite part about shoot weddings, when the cute newlyweds are giggling and flirty the whole time :) 

  We have to get creative to avoid boredom on hot Sunday afternoons in our little one bedroom apartment. So today we had a homemade cupcake photo shoot! We cranked up the AC, turned the oven on and got baking (well, my wife got baking, I pulled out the cameras and set up the lights). It was a great time to get sticky frosting fingers and take pictures of our creations. I think we may have to pass another Sunday afternoon like this again.
