Spencer just moved here from South Carolina, where she modeled a bit while attending High School. Today I had a fantastic time shooting with her, and we made some rad new headshots for her portfolio here in Logan. Emily's Headshots

Logan Utah Headshot Photographer

Tonight was the last night of my portrait lighting class I teach at the Cache Valley Center for the Arts. What a great class we've had! There are so many great photographers in Cache Valley! We've had a great time learning how to light, pose and even a bit of editing for portraits. Tonight after class I snagged Emily, our fantastic model for the evening, and asked her if I could make a quick headshot with her outside. I've thrown a few of my favorites below for your viewing pleasure.

Yesterday morning I had the chance to set up and shoot at the office of Visionary Homes and create some new headshots for part of their staff. What a great group of people, from the construction to sales to the home design side of the business, I got to meet some fantastic individuals. I thoroughly enjoyed working with them.

Christie is a photographer and model from Salt Lake City, and was up for work in Logan last night. She dropped by my studio around 6pm and we had some time to run out in the cold and dark and get her some new headshots, which I totally dig. I love shooting at night and working with Christie was an absolute blast!

Cameron and I grew up together, we've know each other since 2nd grade and somehow he's put up with me all this time. There's a chance Cameron knows me better than my wife still (and we've been married 3 years). Either way, this dude is a rock star. He's the nicest person I know, he'll go out of his way for you to do anything you need. He's always smiling and always got nice things to say about everyone he knows. Cameron just graduated from Utah State University and started working in Brigham City as a counselor for young boys who are trying to straighten up their lives. Today he came in for a headshot, and spent some time making fun of me because he was my roommate when I bought my first camera. We had a great time getting some new images for his resume and social media accounts. Check out a few of my favorites below:

Today we had quite a few people in the studio, Meagan Blake is a model coach based in Northern Utah and she had a small modeling class at my studio, and I had the chance to shoot with a the models who signed up to come. There were some great people there, and Meagan shared some awesome posing ideas and tips for working with the camera! Towards the end of the day I got a little photo happy and threw some of the photographers who came to watch and learn off Meagan in front of my camera. Heck, I even convinced Orlando, who was assisting Meagan, to let me shoot him a headshot. Check out some of my favorites below, and next time you need a new profile picture, give me a call!

That weather today! Seriously! I was shooting with out a jacket, had the studio doors open and was just loving it! Sloan came in today and got some new headshots, I'm telling ya, this girl's got the look. She can nail any look you ask her for. We spend some time in studio and outside shooting some new portraits with her new hair cut she got today. Check out some of my favorites.

Last night we opened the doors of our studio to any local photographers, models and make up artists to come and use our space and shoot, mingle and network together. It was a great time, and I met some amazing new people. I didn't take many images during the event (since I can shoot in my studio any day I haha). But I did have to snag a few of Kaylin eating her donut and Jesse Walker asked for a new headshot, so of course I had to shoot those as well. Jesse is also a local photographer and is working towards his Ph.D at Utah State University.

Julian is a commercial and fitness model for Stars Talent Agency in Salt Lake City. I had a great time getting an couple hours to shoot with him on snowy Saturday afternoon.
