Mike Johnson Photo + Video: Families

I met David a few months backing when he hired me to shoot headshot's for the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity at Utah State University and since then we've had the chance to get to know each other pretty well. This past weekend I got to meet all of his family when we shot their family photos and they're all a great bunch! Check out a few of my favorite images below:

Ya know the best part about being a photographer? When your mom calls up and begs for new pictures, it's just my favorite *sarcasm* (mom, if you're reading this, I love you, I owe you, so call anytime). Anyway, my little sister is leaving on her mission to Tempe Arizona in about a week, so we had to get some new family photos before she left. I'll tell ya this, my family is troopers. It was snowy, about 20 degree's and really windy during their shoot and they didn't complain once - ok, maybe once or twice, but hey. Anyway, here is my crazy, yet wonderful family.

The Kirk family is absolutely the best! Josh is a local web and graphic designer and we worked on a few fun projects together in the past, and yesterday I got the chance to meet his family and get them some cute new family pictures!

I love shooting family reunions and large families and the Titensor Family was no exception!

This past weekend I got to shoot with one of my favorite families of all time! I grew up down the street from the Nipko Family and went to High School and Scouting with their boys. When Sherry called and asked me to shoot their family photos, I was extremely honored. We had a ton of fun getting eaten by misquote's and catching up on where everyone is in life while shooting.

Despite all this terrible rain and weather, we were able to squeeze this awesome family shoot in! The Luther family is amazing, it's great to see a family that has such diverse personalities but still support and love each other so much. Check out a few of my favorites below!
