Spring Internship | Logan Utah Photographer

It's time to find another intern! I love bringing in interns during our busy season. For the intern it's a great way to learn about photography, small business and how to run a photo studio. For me, it's a great to have a helping hand on jobs, around the studio and at events. If you're interested in starting a 3 month internship with us, let's go over some basics of what to expect from the internship.

Why Should I start an internship with Endless Photography?
A better question is, why shouldn't you? Internships are a great way to learn the business of photography. During your time here you'll be able to learn and work hands on in our studio. You'll learn how to shoot portraits, weddings, events, product photography, and more. I'll show you my editing and shooting techniques. If you want to learn photography fast, this is a great opportunity for you! You'll also get full access to our studio and equipment to practice and learn during any downtime in the studio.  If you're in High School or at Utah State, a lot of time we can get you school credit as well.

What will I be doing?
As my intern you'll have plenty to do, but here is a rough list of what I would expect you'd be doing.
-Assisting in the studio and on location with portrait shoots
-Second shooting weddings and events
-Helping to run, clean and maintain the studio
-Networking, advertising and social media
-Possibly some editing and culling
-Anything else that pops up as needed

How long will the internship last?
In the past all my interns have stayed on for at least 3 months, for this spring I'm looking for someone from March 1st to June 1st. If you'd like to extend the internship and things are going well, we can discuss that possibility. On a normal week, I could bring you in for 10-20 hours a week, depending on your schedule and availability.

Is this a paid internship?
Normally I don't pay more interns for most of the day to day and smaller jobs that you're invited to come and assist on. I do however offer to pay you for any larger jobs or events that I have you second shoot for such as weddings, commercial gigs and others. There is the chance for a part time job at the end of the intership, depending on how things are going and how business is looking.

If you have any other questions, or would like to set up an interview to come by and see apply for the internship, send me an email at mike@endless.photography
