There is a fantastic group of hair and makeup artists in Logan, and once a month they meet together to practice new techniques and improve their skills. This month I had the pleasure of hosting their monthly event and I was able to shoot with a some of their members. They all had some amazing work, and I loved spending my morning shooting with them! Liz is a good friend of mine who always happens to be an amazing model. While I was shooting a wedding in Ogden recently we had a few hour break and I asked her to run out and shoot in the sun with me for a bit. We had Nicholle Robertson join us and work her magic with the hair and makeup. I'm so excited that summer is just around the corner!

What a perfect shoot on the salt flats this evening! We had an amazing team and perfect weather. I couldn't have asked for a better team, Carrie is the talented makeup artist I've ever had the chance to work with. I met Mins today on the way to the shoot and I was beyond impressed with her modeling skills. Both dresses were designed by the wonderful Bethany Kay, a new yet incredible fashion designer in Salt Lake City. And of course my two assistants made the shoot so much more smooth and quick.
